Overview
The exhibition "Colour Thirsts" at the Milesi Palace in Split brought together the most significant female artists from the prestigious Dagmar Meneghello collection. In the representative space of the HAZU Institute, the works of Saša Mesić were placed within the broader context of "women's writing", where the power of color and expression communicated with the Mediterranean sensibility and the historical heritage of the palace itself.
Painted sculptures
Alongside a selection of paintings, Saša Mesić also presented two striking wooden sculptures at this exhibition. These works further enriched the display with their tactility and three-dimensionality, demonstrating the artist's ability to transfer the energy of color onto natural materials:
"Green sculpture" – a vertical form celebrating the vitality and power of nature.
"Zvidan and Dagmarica's hair" – a sculpture dedicated to the specific aesthetics and spirit of the place (Palmižana), which through color and form pays tribute to the lasting collaboration and friendship with collector Dagmar Meneghello.
